Yet another hippie recipe, only for this one used a bread machine although you can make it without it you really want to and have the time to deal with proofing yeast and letting your dough rise. I am lazy and I like that I can just put everything into the machine, press go, and use all that time to make other things (like more paneer and yogurt).
---How To Make It Yourself---
tools
- bread machine (capable of handling a 1-1.5 pound loaf)
- tea towel or cloth
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 2 Tbsp salted butter, softened
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup flax seeds
- 1/2 cup raw roasted sunflower seeds
- add water, butter, and honey to bread machine pan
- cover evenly with flour, salt, and flax -- DO NOT MIX
- create well in corner of dry mix and pour dry yeast (do not proof) into the well.
- start machine on basic white setting
- add sunflower seeds at the preset alert time during the kneading stage
- let it finish in the machine
- remove from machine, let loose from pan, and remove the mixer blade
- wrap in a tea towel or thin cloth of some kind and allow to cool to room temperature before cutting yourself a slice
